Our Values define what guides us as we work and how we expect to show up for our clients and partners. There are unstated undercurrents of curiosity, honesty, integrity, kindness, and creativity supporting each value. We revisit our Values often to remind us how we deliver on our Vision and Mission, especially when we’re feeling challenged or in the “messy middle” of ambiguity.

Connection allows us to create living spaces that flow without friction, and where our clients feel a deep sense of comfort, celebration, and belonging.

The experience our clients have while designing any part of their home should be an enjoyable and exciting time. While the creative process is sometimes messy, and there are things we can’t control, we choose to bring a mindset of curiosity and attitude of partnership through the process to carry us forward in good spirits. The experience our clients have during our working engagement is just important as achieving a result they love.

We are in the business of creating living spaces that families will function in day after day. Our clients will continue experiencing, functioning, and living in our designs long after our work is complete, and long after we leave the scene. So, we take a long view with our work to ensure the impact we're leaving on our clients' lives will be a positive one for years to come.

Who We Are
Rae Adam Design Studio, LLC was founded with a vision of making a positive impact in the lives of others by helping them celebrate who they are, create meaningful connections, and find delight in their day-to-day living. We aim to do this by creating living spaces that reflect and celebrate the people who live in them, that are beautifully designed, and comfortable to live in.
Jonell Lay established the company out of her passion for helping people, love of design, and desire to create great experiences for others. Building trust is one of her superpowers and something she values most in her relationships. Great design doesn't happen without it.
